K. Craig Kent, MD, CEO of UVA Health, and Jason Lineen, Chief Strategy Officer, recently sat down to discuss “One Future Together.”


In June 2021, One Future Together was launched as an effort to develop and define a shared vision for the future of UVA Health. As we emerge from the pandemic, there is great excitement across the organization to embark on our enterprise-wide strategic planning effort that encompasses all four mission areas: community & health equity, education, patient care and research. The planning process will be extremely inclusive through both in-person events and virtual forums. Explore Purpose 

  • Constitute and convene mission-based Strategic Planning Committees
  • Engage faculty, clinicians, staff, students, alumni and community members to solicit input for UVA Health’s future strategic vision
  • Host virtual town halls and Ongoing conversations
  • Build a fact base to inform decision making
